I believe that we must encourage our students to dream. We must motivate them to accomplish beyond any limitiations. Ted.com inspires us to acheive the impossible. This is a great website for teachers to share with students. I shared the journey to the South Pole with my students and they were blown away by the commitment of the men. Be intrigued. Visit Ted.com
Hello! Great site! I have never heard of Ted.com before. I believe I just spent 15 minutes going through it, because I was very inspired. We do need more positive, motivating sites for students. Instilling positivity is crucial, and I wish that more being would be inspired to share and spread ideas - that are worth sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis Ted.com site truly amazing. There is so much negativity in the world now, it is good to see the positive. We need to do everything possible to promote the positive conditions, motivate, and encourage the students. Negativity is so quick to spread but positivity always stays so quiet. It is important to support students in every situation and pat them on back after a they have given a great shot but fallen short.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Ted.com. What a great website that highlights some positive aspects in such a negative world.. I have a co worker that speaks highly of this website and I concur with her now that I have had the opportunity to visit it. Unfortunately it is blocked through our school's server and our students can not enjoy it. I love the use and feel of the website and the interesting way the videoes are categorized. They are not only categorized by subject but by descriptive words which increases vocabulary. I am especially fond of the technology and global issue videoes available. The topics are interesting and can be used by different grade levels.
